When looking at the Vikings’ roster, there are several names that wouldn’t make sense to stick in the slot. Third-round pick Cameron Dantzler played just nine snaps in the slot at Mississippi State this past fall and his 6-foot-2, 188-pound frame produced a 40-yard dash of 4.64 at the NFL Scouting Combine. Vikings is a NetEnt-powered online slot based on the hit TV show. The game features 243 Ways to Win with some impressive bonus features, like transforming symbols, free spins and hotspots that allow you to cash in on some incredible cash prizes.
Minnesota saw its two starters out wide and the team’s nickel corner all depart in free agency.
It’s safe to say that the cornerback group will look a lot different and a lot younger than it did in 2019. So how could the Vikings approach that unit as the team is set to take on the Packers Sunday in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season?
The Vikings announced the unofficial depth chart, and the team had Holton Hill and Mike Hughes as the starters. But there is a question of how Minnesota will utilize the slot corner role. The team has deployed the nickel package quite often in past seasons, so the guess is that the Vikings are likely to do that again.
Here’s what Minnesota can do with its corners: Holton Hill and Mike Hughes in a 4-3 base

This one is the most obvious. Hill and Hughes are some of the more established cornerbacks on the team. If there are two corners out wide and no slot cornerback, this is probably what the team will go with.Vikings Slot Wr Holton Hill, Mike Hughes and Jeff Gladney in a nickel

When Gladney comes into the game, I think he’ll be the nickel corner. That puts Hughes and Hill out wide.Viking Games Free Hill, Dantzler, Hughes in a nickel

This is where I think the Vikings should move Hughes to the inside. Dantzler has had a good camp, but he might not be physical enough to play at nickel corner for the Vikings. Hughes has experience in that role from past seasons. So Hill and Dantzler will be out wide, with Hughes moving to the nickel.
